Very strong adhesive tape with fabric backing, with excellent adhesion even on rough and porous surfaces.

Very good adhesive strength ensures excellent adhesion even on rough substrates and is ideal for bonding challenging materials such as PVC, textile and carpet flooring, as well as bonding metal or cement to wood and metal.

Can be torn off by hand for fast, easy application of the tape.

The fabric backing adapts optimally to the substrate, including uneven surfaces.

Good humidity resistance.

The STRONG double-sided adhesive tape is not UV-resistant and should therefore not be exposed to direct sunlight.

If plastics containing plasticising additives are to be bonded, the plasticisers may alter the adhesive layer. This impairs the strength of the adhesive.

Application area

Excellent adhesion, even on rough surfaces. Also suitable for difficult bonding situations, e.g. PVC, cloth and rough carpet, metal to wood, metal to metal, cement to wood.

Ideal for laying carpets, bonding on stairs or for securing and bonding a range of materials in the construction, furniture and textile industries.

Instructions

The surfaces to be bonded must be completely dry, load-bearing and free from dust, grease and oil. Do not use on weathered or damaged surfaces.

To ensure proper adhesion, the tape must be adequately pressed onto the material to be bonded, if necessary with the press-on roller.

In case of sensitive and porous surfaces (e.g. wood, stone), please carry out preliminary tests.

If plastics containing plasticising additives are to be bonded, the plasticisers may change the adhesive layer. This will impair the strength of the adhesive.

The mounting tapes are only UV-resistant in certain cases and should therefore be protected from direct sunlight.

Preliminary tests should be carried out on sensitive surfaces (e.g. Zinc plated, powder-coated, anodised) and porous surfaces (e.g. wood, stone).
