Full-surface, very strong self-adhesive
- Simple, time-saving application
- Very secure adhesion on many typical construction surfaces, no hardening time
Watertight and breathable
- Provides a reliable seal against water from outdoors.
- The vapour-permeable membrane simultaneously allows water vapour from indoors to diffuse to the outside, therefore preventing moisture-related building damage.
Extremely high elasticity
- Optimum safety in case of component movements.
- Convenient to apply due to tape flexibility.
Excellent resistance to weathering, permanent secure seal
Easier application through double division of the separating paper (from width of 150 mm).
For smoothing out unevenness, patching the film edge as protection from running, in corners or for joints, we recommend EPDM sealing tape adhesive. Additionally mount tape to element with a mechanical mounting, e.g. windowsill, clamping in the element, clamping batten, terminal block etc.
Not suitable for sealing against water under pressure. Tape cannot be plastered over.
Datasheets(X)
Permanent, reliable sealing of joints outdoors, e.g. for window sills, conservatories and façades as well as in timber construction and pre-fabricated building construction. Sealing of blind joints.
Preparation
The surfaces must be dry, load-bearing and free from grease, ice and dust. Absorbent and porous surfaces must be pre-treated with Würth butyl/bitumen primer or spray primer.
Installation
Peel the protective film, cut to length and apply ensuring there are no wrinkles.
To ensure proper adhesion, the tape must be pressed onto the surface and smoothed with a press-on roller or a similar tool.
