Metalyt provides excellent corrosion protection and also adheres to thin sheet metal edges.

For welding using spot, inert gas and oxyfuel gas welding
Can be welded wet or dry.
Note: Spark discharge is possible with spot welding. Cover adjacent surfaces. Not suitable for use with automated spot welding devices.
Dust-dry after approx. 5-8 minutes. Touch dry after approx. 1 hour. Can be filled and painted over after 2 hours/60 °C or 24 hours at room temperature. Can be subjected to full mechanical stress after 2-3 days.
Shadows on the surface are product-specific and provide for a zinc-like surface.
Given the great variety of different paint systems, fillers and sealants, only general notes can be provided. The suitability of subsequently applied coating materials should be checked during preliminary tests.
When applying and painting over the product, the technical data sheet and the instructions of the top coat, the filler and the sealant manufacturer must be observed.

For minor repairs to damaged zinc phosphate coats on bodywork panels and vehicle parts. Thanks to the TITANID technology, it is simple and cost-effective to repair the anti-corrosive coating on vehicles so that it is true to the original. An expensive electrolyte process is no longer necessary.
Shake can well for at least 2 minutes before use. The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease. Spraying distance: 15-25 cm. Apply a thin coat of METALYT in 1-2 spray passes.
