- Adhesion to all building-related surfaces
- Does not cause corrosion on metals
- Resistant to ageing, weathering and UV
- Permanently elastic
- Can be painted
- Building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102
- Not suitable for bonding or filling cavities
- Complies with building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102
- Due to the large number of varnish and glazing formulations, always carry out your own tests on the area first, especially on alkyd resin paints and powder-coated aluminium
- When hardening, gives off an odour typical of silicone. This odour is no longer present once the curing process is complete. With larger joint dimensions, the silicone-like odour may be present for longer.
- Silicone has a tendency to yellow in dark areas where there is no UV exposure
- Avoid contact with VKP tape
Datasheets(X)
Sealing of indoor expansion joints with medium loads.
- The surface must be load-bearing, clean, dry and free from grease, rust and water
- Do not use in heavy rain
- The joint dimensions must be observed. Prime the joints with PE back-fill material
- A primer, e.g. with Silicone primer, improves the adhesion for absorbent or porous surfaces.
- Please observe the "General Notes on Application for Sealants" and "Construction Material Compatibility of Würth Sealants" overview sheet. Further information in the technical data sheet.
