This polyurethane foam is an assembly and insulating material that is formed when a reactive liquid mixture foams and cures as it interacts with moisture in the air. It has a homogeneous structure and improved expansion capability and application properties.
- For installing and sealing wooden, plastic and metal door and window frames, plus other structures
- Can be used as insulation for hot water pipes, bath tubs, hot water tanks and cooling equipment
- For sealing joints, cracks and holes which are impossible to fill with other sealing materials, as well as openings for water, heating and gas pipes and wiring
- For chinking log structures
Store in a ventilated, cool, dry place at temperatures of between +5°C and +25°C. The guaranteed effectiveness of the product is within 12 months of manufacture.
Datasheets(X)
- The surface can be wet prior to application. However, it should not be covered with frost or ice.
- The temperature of the bottle before application should be between +15°C and +20°C. Shake the contents of the bottle vigorously for one minute. The minimum ambient temperature for application is +5 °C. If processing takes place above the optimum temperature (+20°C), the temperature of the contents in the bottle should not differ from the ambient temperature by more than 5°C.
- Screw the plastic dispensing adapter onto the valve of the bottle. The working position of the bottle is upside down. The amount of foam released is controlled by squeezing the dispensing adapter lever. The quality and volume of hardened foam depends on the relative air humidity. We recommend using a spray bottle filled with water to moisten the space to be filled. If the average size of the gap is more than 5 cm, fill only part of the space — the layer thickness should be max. 2 cm. Moisten the freshly applied foam and continue to layer the foam until the space is filled. The foam expands as it cures, meaning only 1/3 of the space should be filled initially. If the relative air humidity is less than 35%, add large amounts of moisture to the foam.
- Hardened foam can be cut using a cutter. The surface must be protected against prolonged exposure to UV radiation.
- Fresh foam can be removed using a PU cleaner. Cured foam can only be removed using mechanical aids. If the work is interrupted for more than 10-15 minutes, the applicator must be cleaned with a PU cleaner.
