Polyurethane adhesive W2302 is a substance produced from the foaming and hardening of a reactive liquid compound via air humidity and is used for bonding, construction works and sealing.
- Styrofoam board gluing for insulating panel buildings, houses, prefabricated buildings etc.
- Door frame construction and bonding for when good adhesion to all common building materials (brick, concrete, wood, bitumen and asphalt) and extra-quick hardening is needed
- Sealing of gaps, cracks and holes that cannot be filled by other sealants; sealing of water, heating, gas and electricity installation through walls
- Sealing of log buildings
Store in a ventilated, cool, dry place at temperatures of between +5°C and +25°C. The guaranteed effectiveness of the product is within 15 months of manufacture.
Datasheets(X)
- Clean any dust, grease and other dirt from the surface. Before applying the foam, the surface may be wet but not frosted or iced.
- The temperature of the bottle before application should be between +15°C and +20°C. Shake the content of the bottle intensively for one minute. The minimum ambient temperature for application is +5°C. When working in temperatures higher than the optimal temperature (+20°C) the difference between the temperature of the bottle content and the ambient temperature should not exceed 5°C.
- Screw the bottle onto the application gun. The working position of the bottle is upside down. The amount of foam released is controlled by pressing the trigger of the application gun. The quality and volume of hardened foam depends on the relative air humidity. We recommend wetting the surface for better adhesion. Apply the polyurethane adhesive W2302 evenly around the edge of the board, approximately 2 cm from the edge, and apply another strip of adhesive across the centre in parallel with the longer side of the board. After applying the adhesive, attach the insulation board to the wall and press. The position of the board can be adjusted within 10 minutes of attaching. In adverse weather conditions use protective scaffold mesh netting.
- Hardened foam can be cut using a cutter. The surface must be protected against prolonged exposure to UV radiation.
- Fresh foam can be removed using a PU cleaner, hardened foam can be only removed mechanically. Immediately after application, i.e. after unscrewing the bottle from the application gun, the application gun should be cleaned using a PU cleaner.
