Highly-breathable synthetic membrane, triple-layer, combined with a three-dimensional drainage mesh and sound-deadening coating for sheet metal roofs
Sound damping
- reduction of noise caused by rain and hail on the sheet metal covering
- improves living comfort
Impermeable to water
- the drainage layer allows for the removal of the condensate that may form under the metal covering and reduces the risk of corrosion
- The triple-layer membrane protects the thermal insulation from condensation or leaks and keeps it dry and functional
Correct degree of breathability
- high permeability for water vapour
- aids the expulsion of damp accumulated inside the insulation package
It is essential to ensure good ventilation and free water drainage under the covering
Suitable for fitting on roofs with metal covers, provides a stable base for installation even when subject to high loads, for example snow
To be applied to the cold side of the roof in direct contact with the insulation. Follow the installation instructions enclosed with the product carefully (see back page)
Wütop® METAL SK is a sound-absorbing breathable fabric suitable for metal roofs. The product can be laid directly onto the thermal insulation covering; it protects against moisture ingress due to the condensate which can gather under the roof, and serves as a sound-absorbing layer to dull the noise caused by rain or hail. Install Wütop® METAL SK parallel to the line of the eaves, fixing it to the substructure (using stainless-steel staples) in correspondence with the overlapping area of the sheets that will be sealed with the integrated adhesive tape. The laying of the covering must be carried out immediately after the application of the sheeting, in order to prevent the latter from being damaged by UV rays
