Universal smoothing agent suitable for all types of sealants
  • Easy to apply from the aerosol can

  • Uniform cross-linking, sealant joint hardens quicker thanks to uniform cross-linking of the surface.

  • Improved surface, by moistening the sealant and then scraping the joint, the joint surface becomes more flexible and smoother
Notice

Joining steel parts can lead to corrosion if the sealant smoothing agent is used. Caution: Discoloured edges or surfaces may stand out on absorbent surfaces. To prevent streaking, remove excess smoothing agent from the glass shortly after application. Caution: May cause slight clouding on frosted glass.

When applying to natural stone, excess smoothing agent should be rinsed away with clean water before drying to avoid stains forming. Hold the can at an angle during application to ensure that the riser tube is below the surface of the liquid. Holding the can level for too long will result in the can only half emptying.

Application area

Smoothing agent for clean, even smoothing of sealant joints. This makes the surface of the sealant more supple and harden faster. Shortly after smoothing over the joint, excess smoothing agent should be removed on adjacent surfaces.

Please observe the "General Notes on Application for Sealants" overview sheet.

Instructions

Upon applying the sealant, spray it with sealant smoothing agent or smear it on and then smooth over with a joint smoother. For more information, please refer to the technical data sheet.

The packaging unit defines the number of articles in one packaging. In the catalog segment you can choose from different packaging units if a pop-up menu is displayed.

Just leave the field empty if you don't know the packaging unit when directly entering the article number in the shopping basket or when importing with Easy-/VarioScan. The packaging unit will be determined automatically.
The article number is made up of the following: VVVVAAABBB
VVVV = 4 digits for prefix number (please note that the first digit is currently always 0)
AAA = 3 digits for dimension part 1
BBB = 3 digits for dimension part 2

Example article number structures:
Example 1: Screw with dimensions of 4x10 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
00574 10 (2 spaces between the 4 and the 10)

Example 2: Screw with dimensions of 10x20 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
005710 20 (1 space between the 10 and the 20)

Example 3: Flat washer with an internal diameter of 6 mm:
