As stainless steel shim rings are not part of DIN 988, there is no priming material on the market to meet the tolerances for the disc thickness according to DIN 988. The tolerances for the disc thickness are in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9445-1 for continuously cold-rolled stainless steel. Thus, the discs can also have a positive thickness allowance.
All other dimensions and tolerances comply with DIN 988.
