- Take into account structural movement and temporary elongations of the existing joints when determining the appropriate tape size.
- Expansion speed depends on temperature.
- Store in a cool location during hot weather.
- Store in a warm location during cold weather.
- Please use VKP Plus for joints between solid components.
- We recommend using flexible tape or EPDM outdoor sealing tape in the bottom joint area.
- Perform adequate tests when applying paints and sealants.
- No interactions with commercially available plastering mortar.
- The window is secured using spaced installation.
- Façade joints under a heavy load must be sealed with VKP Plus.

Preparation
- Clean any loose dirt from the substrates.
- A smooth coating is required in the case of unevenness.
- Cut off approx. 2 cm from the beginning and end of the tape.
- Allow approx. 2 cm per metre of extra length when cutting the tape to size.
Installation on windows
- Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive strip.
- Stick the tape to the window profile.
- Make sure the positioning is correct internally and externally (white label on the inside).
Appearance in the corner area
- The tape is butt-jointed at the corners and must be compressed longitudinally.
- Seal with flexible tape adhesive, WÜTOP film adhesive or ALL-IN-ONE connection adhesive, if available.
