- Excellent UV resistance
- Resistant to abrasion, corrosion and moisture
- Clean processing/clean edge finish
- Minimum compression of 30 % for sealing against water
- Medium-hard multi-functional foam seals, similar to neoprene
- Paper separating foil on the adhesive-free side reduces expansion strain during application
- Good resistance to diluted acids and alkaline solutions
- Fire retardant in line with DIN 4102, Part 1, B2
- Predetermined measurement reduces waste
- Good resistance to diluted acids and alkaline solutions
- Predetermined measurement reduces waste
Low temperatures increase the risk of condensation and reduce the tape's adhesiveness
Datasheets(X)
The one-sided PVC foam adhesive tape has a predominantly closed cell structure and consists of medium-hard foam. An acrylic adhesive is applied to one side and a removable paper release film on the other, adhesive-free side. When the tape is compressed, the windscreen lining tape seals against water, air and dust. The tape can also be used as anti-slip material, to fill cavities, for padding and as protection against electrolytic corrosion.
The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease. Recommended cleaning agent is IPA Cleaner (art. no. 0893 223 500, 0893 223 505). The tape can be applied by hand, directly from the roll and using even pressure. For more information, please refer to the technical data sheet.
