- The special half shells grip behind the wheel hub during installation and press on the retainer ring located directly on the bearing outer ring. This prevents damage to the bearing and allows the retainer ring to engage evenly.
For frequent use with large bearing units or heavily corroded bearings, we recommend the optional 17 t hydraulic components (steel cylinder, art. no.1952004090 or aluminium cylinder, art. no.1952004120).
