Maximum comfort
- Designed for use with tangential impact drivers for even faster and safer work, as there is no back torque and therefore no strain on the wrist
- Drilling, thread cutting and countersinking/deburring in just one operation: No tool change required, saving time and costs
- Patent-pending SMART STEP tip geometry with extremely unequal pitch for drilling with minimal force and perfect tool guidance
Maximum service life due to nanoProtect coating
- Significantly longer service life than conventional combination screw taps
Maximum speed
- Up to 3 times faster than comparable combination screw taps with conventional tip geometry
Maximum precision
- High-precision, circular holes provide the perfect foundation for high-quality subsequent thread cutting
- Optimised thread tooth pitch for even lower risk of breakage and perfect, true-to-gauge through hole threads in accordance with ISO 2 (6H)
Maximum flexibility in use
- Can be used universally with almost all materials
- Can be used in tangential impact drivers as well as conventionally in drill/drivers or with box column and pillar drills
1/4 inch hexagon bit shank, type E
- Ground from solid material for the best possible concentricity and dimensional accuracy
- Secure hold and optimal power transmission in the drill chuck
- Extremely fast tool change in tangential impact drivers
- No snagging at the hole exit
Available exclusively from WÜRTH
Product packaging made from 100 % PCR (recycled plastic from household waste) and 100 % recyclable
- Only suitable for through hole threads with a material thickness of up to 1 x M* (e.g. M10 = 10 mm material thickness)
- Countersinking in accordance with DIN 74-1 for countersunk head screws (in accordance with DIN 7991) is not possible
- Sufficient coolant and lubricant must be added
- Suitable for through holes with a material thickness of up to 1 x M* (e.g. M10 = 10 mm material thickness)
- Ideal for use in tangential impact drivers
- Ideal for use in cordless drivers as well as on hand-held, box column and pillar drills
- For universal use in almost all materials, such as stainless steel (e.g. V2A, V4A), heat-resistant steels and titanium. Also for general applications in conventional steel up to 1,400 N/mm² as well as in cast iron, aluminium, plastic and non-ferrous metals.
- Sufficient coolant and lubricant must be used
- It is essential to observe the recommended cutting values for use with tangential impact drivers and for conventional use with drill/drivers or with box column drills. If drilling with a drill/driver or with a box column drill, it is essential to significantly reduce the speed for thread cutting and countersinking/deburring after drilling.
- Be sure to work in a straight line. Avoid tilting at all costs: Risk of tool breakage!
- Before reversing the combination screw tap, make sure to remove all threads of the tool from the drill hole. Failure to do so may cause the cutting edges or the tool to break.
- Make sure there is sufficient battery capacity!
